Athletic Performance

The workout consists of functional movement training, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on basic and proper technique. The workout will become progressively more challenging as the athlete masters the basic techniques.

  • SPEED – Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Techniques, Running Mechanics, and Footwork

  • XPLOSIVE POWER – Olympic lifting, Plyometrics, Medicine Balls, Jumping & Landing Techniques

  • STRENGTH – Focus on Upper Body, Lower Body, and Core

  • CONDITIONING – Energy System Development to fit the athletes sport and level

  • FLEXIBILITY – Myofascial Tissue Release (aka Foam Rolling), Various Stretching Techniques, Muscle Activation

  • INJURY PREVENTION – Athlete Assessment to Identify and Correct Muscular Imbalances, Balance & Stabilization

 

Adult Fitness

We specialize in working with the busy adult looking to stay in shape and keep up with the daily grind. We know life is lived outside of the gym and feeling good, looking good, and staying healthy are priorities. Our programs are personalized to fit your needs and help you get back on the right path.

FUNXTION FITNESS

Many people train with weights while others stick to cardio or aerobics, our FunXtion Fitness classes are somewhere in between

  • Group classes with certified instructors using tools such as, kettlebells, sand bags, ropes, medicine balls, TRX, and a variety of other fun equipment

  • This type of metabolic resistance training is a great way to shake things up and give you a full body workout, burn a ton of calories, and get your metabolism going

  • Your body will get stronger, your cardiovascular fitness will improve, and you will burn calories and watch your body change

Personal

Our private and semi private sessions provide individualized coaching for you and up to 3 other clients. These sessions are designed to tackle your weaknesses and further develop your strengths in order to achieve your personal health and fitness goals. 

Your Success Session, which includes goal setting, an evaluation of your injury and training history and an assessment will provide the information we need to develop a custom program.  

A more personal setting allows us to target your specific needs directly and achieve your goals faster.  

Proper Cardiovascular Training: Only the correct amount of Cardio at the right intensity will work for your goals.  Doing too much or going too hard can not only be useless but actually work against your efforts.

Appropriate Resistance Training: Muscle is our body’s fat burning machine. Resistance training and lifting weights helps to build and maintain that fat burning machine. 

Professional Coaching and Program Design: One program doesn’t work for everyone nor will it work forever.  As your body adapts and changes so must your program.  Your coach will help you modify your plan as your body changes and adapts so you continue to see results. 

General Nutrition Guidelines to follow: As a part of our membership, we will also give you one of our Xplosive nutrition guides complete with simple guidelines and tips of exactly what you should be eating in order to reach your goals.  If you follow the plan and fill out your journal, and bring it in to your coach, you will not fail.
